Best Service Plan Software for Pest Control Companies (2026)

Oct 16
13 min read

The best service plan software for pest control companies in 2026 is QuoteIQ, because it bills the customer's saved card on every cycle, puts the included visits on your calendar, and starts at $29.99 a month with plan billing on every tier. I co-founded QuoteIQ and run my own pressure washing business on it, so treat that pick as my opinion and check the other seven below against it. If your question is about routes and scheduling rather than the plan itself, my recurring service software roundup for pest control covers that side.

TL;DR

  • QuoteIQ (#1): Invoice Subscriptions on every plan from $29.99 a month, billing a saved card weekly through annually. E-signatures start on Beginner at $99.99.

  • GorillaDesk (#2): Pest-native, but subscription billing starts on the $99 Pro plan, not the $49 Basic plan.

  • Jobber (#3): Bills a saved card automatically after each visit, which is per-visit billing, not a flat plan fee.

  • Housecall Pro (#4): A real Service Plans module with automatic card charging, listed only on the $329 Max plan.

  • FieldRoutes, PestPac, Briostack and ServiceTitan (#5 to #8): Autopay, card capture at signature and memberships, all quote-based with no published price.

How I Picked These

I judged each tool on the plan lifecycle a pest company actually runs: selling the agreement and getting it signed, saving a card, billing it on a cycle, putting the included visits on the calendar, and handling renewals, pauses and cancellations. Prices are standard monthly rates from each vendor's own pricing page, checked in October 2026, and where a vendor publishes no price I say so instead of guessing. This is written for the owners behind the 16,565 U.S. pest control firms NPMA counts, 81.4% of which run one or two locations. I co-founded QuoteIQ and use it in my own business, so it sits first because I built it and rely on it, not because I scored it against the field. I have not run a pest control route, and I have not used the seven competitors, so their entries rest on what their pages and help centers say. Where a page is silent, I write that it does not document the point and tell you to confirm it on a demo or trial.

1. QuoteIQ — Best Overall for Pest Control Service Plans

What it is

QuoteIQ is the all-in-one field service app I co-founded and use in my own business. For service plans, the piece that matters is Invoice Subscriptions: you set a customer's plan on a weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly or annual cycle, and the card on file is charged every billing cycle with no action from the customer. Plan members can get a discount, and taxes, convenience fees and deposits run on the same logic as a regular invoice. Pair a plan with recurring job scheduling and the included visits land on your calendar automatically. An accepted recurring estimate can convert straight into a maintenance plan, pre-filled with the customer, services and pricing.

"Great app, I use to keep track of estimates, invoices, payments, and also pricing different jobs!" — ForeverGlobal Washing (App Store review)

Pricing

On the QuoteIQ pricing page, Essentials is $29.99 a month for one user, Beginner is $99.99 for two, Pro is $199.99 for four, Elite is $299.99 for ten and Max is $699.99 for twenty. Extra users are $25 a month on every plan, and every plan has a 14-day trial. Invoice Subscriptions and recurring scheduling start on Essentials. E-signatures start on Beginner, Client Portal and Email & Text Automations on Pro, and InstaSchedule self-booking on Elite. The page was updated September 15, 2026.

Where it fits

Owner-operators through crews of about ten who want the quote, the signed agreement, the recurring charge and the route in one app. If you want to see your own plan setup before you commit, book a QuoteIQ demo.

Tradeoffs

The invoice subscription page does not address pausing, cancelling or retention, so test a pause and a cancel in the trial before you move your customer book. It describes e-signing a recurring contract, not a dedicated agreement module with renewal tracking. QuoteIQ's own pest control page lists e-signatures on Essentials while the pricing page starts them at Beginner, so I follow the pricing page and you should confirm in the trial. Extra users cost $25 each, and I run a pressure washing business, not a pest route, so I can't tell you from experience how it handles a 3,000-customer book.

2. GorillaDesk — Best Pest-Native Option for Small Operators

What it is

GorillaDesk is a field service platform with a dedicated pest control page. Its FAQ names "Subscription billing to automate payments" as an advanced feature, and the page says you can save cards on file for future billing using Stripe or Square. Customers get a portal to manage documents, invoices and payment methods, and the page lists digital document signing.

Pricing

GorillaDesk's pricing page shows Basic at $49, Pro at $99 and Growth at $149 a month, or $539, $1,089 and $1,639 a year. Recurring subscription billing is listed on Pro and Growth but not on Basic. The Growth sign-up links reference $299 monthly, so confirm that tier before you commit. Only users assigned to a schedule need a paid seat, and the page gives no price for extra schedules. The page was last modified May 4, 2026.

Where it fits

Small pest-first companies that want subscription billing inside a tool built around lawn and pest work and can start on Pro at $99.

Tradeoffs

Basic cannot run subscription billing, so the real entry price for service plans is $99, not $49. The pest control page does not address service plans, agreements or renewals, and the pricing grid does not state autopay for any tier. Ask for both on a demo.

3. Jobber — Best for Simple Per-Visit Billing

What it is

Jobber is a polished general field service app with a pest control page. It says you can "save a card on file for your recurring clients so Jobber can bill them automatically after each visit," and that you can set clients up with "whatever cadence their program calls for." Clients can see when you're coming next in the Client Hub.

Pricing

On Jobber's pricing page, the no-commitment monthly prices are Core at $49 for one user, Connect at $139 for one user or $199 for five, Grow at $199 for one user or $299 for five, and Plus at $499 for five. Extra users are $29 a month. The page was last modified September 23, 2026.

Where it fits

Solo techs and small crews who bill each visit after it is done and don't need a flat monthly plan fee. I compare the two on price in my Jobber vs QuoteIQ breakdown.

Tradeoffs

Billing after each visit is not the same as charging a flat monthly or quarterly plan fee. The pest page makes no claims about recurring invoices, service agreements or renewals as features, and it does not say which plan includes automatic payments. The pricing page lists "Collect payments automatically" under Connect, which is not the same wording, so confirm which tier you need.

4. Housecall Pro — Best for Built-In Service Plans

What it is

Housecall Pro has a Service Plans module for recurring service agreements. Its help center says plans are "a subscription, much like online streaming services," and that an indefinite plan keeps charging the card on file year after year. Recurring jobs are generated from the selected plan, and customers can pay monthly, quarterly or annually and renew or upgrade online.

Pricing

The pricing page lists Basic at $79, Essentials at $189 for five users and Max at $329 for eight users, with extra Max users at $35 a month, and shows lower figures of $59, $149 and $299 for annual billing. Only Max lists Service Plans, with the line "Secure a stable income through recurring maintenance agreements." The page was last modified August 26, 2026.

Where it fits

Crews that want a purpose-built plan module and can budget for Max at $329 a month. My Housecall Pro vs QuoteIQ comparison covers the price gap in detail.

Tradeoffs

Service Plans appear only on Max. Once a plan is active, its billing frequency cannot be changed; you cancel it and send a new one. The card cannot be removed from a plan, invoices can't be sent ahead of upcoming payments (customers get an email receipt after each automatic charge), and the Service Plans help article does not describe pausing.

5. FieldRoutes — Best for Autopay-Driven Residential Routes

What it is

FieldRoutes is built for pest and lawn operators. Its pest control page says, "Provide customers with AutoPay and let the software collect payments while your team focuses on growing your business," and it puts payment reminders on autopilot. It also lists a client portal with card payment, scheduling automation for ongoing contracts, and bundled packages where you can create, sell, schedule, service and bill multiple services together.

Pricing

FieldRoutes publishes no dollar amounts. Its pricing page says the monthly subscription is based on the number of active customers, and the Growth and Corporate packages show Request Pricing buttons. It does not offer a free trial, only a demonstration.

Where it fits

Residential pest companies with a large recurring customer book, where autopay and bulk scheduling matter more than a published price.

Tradeoffs

The pages I read make no explicit claims about subscriptions or contract renewals, so ask how renewals and price changes work in the demo. Because pricing is tied to active customers, your bill moves with the size of your book.

6. PestPac — Best for Established Operators That Need Billing Depth

What it is

PestPac, from WorkWave, lists card auto-billing, pre-payment discounts, ACH, online payments, invoice consolidation and SMS payments on its accounting page. The page says you can "Set up payment plans to bill at the desired frequency," and its FAQ describes card capture on forms, where customers add card details at the time of digital signature. Its residential page says customers can review and sign proposals and contracts through self-service and manage stored payment methods for recurring payments.

Pricing

PestPac's pricing page shows no dollar figures. It lists Small Business, Professional and Enterprise tiers and asks you to speak with a consultant.

Where it fits

Established operators who want deep billing, collections and reporting and are comfortable with a sales process.

Tradeoffs

The pages I read do not describe a service agreement module or say whether renewals are automated. They mention keeping customers up to date on renewals and promotions, and running price increases on your own schedule, but not how a renewal is processed. Ask for a walk-through of one plan from signature to renewal, and compare it with the PestPac pricing tiers.

7. Briostack — Best for Door-to-Door Sales Crews

What it is

Briostack pairs Brio Office, for invoicing and accounting with a QuickBooks integration, with Brio Sales, a CRM that the Briostack homepage says goes beyond the basics, with leaderboards, territory management and lead generation. The same page says it can streamline the customer sign-up process. Its blog on getting paid, published May 14, 2026, argues for auto-pay and for requiring recurring customers to store a card at signup, and says that may lower cancellation rates over time.

Pricing

Briostack publishes no pricing, and the homepage sends you to request a demo.

Where it fits

Sales-driven pest companies that sign customers door to door and want the sign-up and the billing in one system.

Tradeoffs

The homepage does not mention service plans, agreements, renewals or auto-pay as product features, and the payments article is general education about pest billing rather than a product specification. You will need the demo to see how a plan is actually built.

8. ServiceTitan — Best for Membership-Driven Enterprise Teams

What it is

ServiceTitan's help center describes memberships built in a Membership Wizard that covers the member discount, duration, recurring services and billing setup. Each membership uses a sales item for new sales and a renewal item for renewals, and the recurring service type sets the visit frequency, which generates recurring service events that can be booked into jobs.

Pricing

ServiceTitan's pricing page lists Starter, Essentials and The Works packages with Request Pricing buttons and no dollar figures, and says pricing is per technician. It describes the packages as adding features up to configurable payroll and customizable memberships.

Where it fits

Large or multi-trade operations with a dedicated office team that can manage a configurable membership system.

Tradeoffs

The memberships concepts article I read does not cover cancellation, auto-renewal mechanics or a full list of billing frequencies, and recurring billing needs a membership billing invoice template set up in advance. It is the heaviest setup of the eight, and ServiceTitan publishes no price.

What Operators Say

Including the one in the QuoteIQ entry, none of the three reviewers is tagged as a pest control company in QuoteIQ's review database, so read them as general feedback on the app, not proof of how it runs a pest plan.

"This app is amazing and has practically everything you need to make sure the customer knows exactly what you’re doing and how much everything cost." — Let's Geaux (App Store review)
"100% recommended for anyone running a service based business!" — Isaac Schotte (App Store review)

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best software for pest control service plans in 2026?

For most small and mid-size pest companies I would start with QuoteIQ, because Invoice Subscriptions are on every plan from $29.99 a month and bill the saved card on a weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly or annual cycle. I co-founded it, so weigh that. GorillaDesk is the pest-native alternative, but its subscription billing starts on the $99 Pro plan. Housecall Pro has a dedicated Service Plans module, listed only on its $329 Max plan. FieldRoutes, PestPac, Briostack and ServiceTitan are quote-based and suit larger books. My QuoteIQ vs GorillaDesk comparison goes deeper on the first two. Whichever you pick, ask the vendor to walk a quarterly plan from signature to the first automatic charge.

How do pest control service plans work?

A pest control service plan is a recurring agreement: the customer signs, a card goes on file, and the company bills a set amount on a cycle while visits are generated on a fixed interval, such as monthly, bi-monthly or quarterly. The software should handle four jobs: getting the agreement signed, charging the card on schedule, putting each included visit on the calendar, and managing renewals, pauses and cancellations. Tools differ most on that last job, which is why each entry above lists what its pages do not document. If signing is your bottleneck, start with my pest control proposal software roundup.

How much does pest control service plan software cost?

Published prices run from $29.99 to $699.99 a month for QuoteIQ, $49 to $149 for GorillaDesk, $49 to $499 for Jobber and $79 to $329 for Housecall Pro, all on standard monthly billing and checked in October 2026. The plan feature is what moves the price: GorillaDesk needs Pro at $99 for subscription billing, and Housecall Pro lists Service Plans on Max at $329. FieldRoutes, PestPac, Briostack and ServiceTitan publish no dollar figures, though FieldRoutes bases its monthly subscription on active customers and ServiceTitan prices per technician. Extra users cost $25 on QuoteIQ, $29 on Jobber and $35 on Housecall Pro Max.

Can pest control software bill service plans automatically?

Yes, most of the eight can charge a saved card without any action from the customer, but the model differs. QuoteIQ and Housecall Pro charge a plan on a cycle, and Housecall Pro's help center says an indefinite plan keeps charging the card on file year after year. GorillaDesk lists subscription billing on Pro. Jobber says it bills a saved card automatically after each visit, which is per-visit billing, not a flat plan fee. FieldRoutes advertises AutoPay and PestPac lists card auto-billing. Before you buy, ask each vendor to show a quarterly plan being charged, and ask what happens when a card fails.

What percentage of pest control revenue comes from recurring service plans?

NPMA's April 1, 2026 industry release reports that recurring revenue was 85.4% of residential service revenue in 2025, on total U.S. structural pest control revenue of $13.416 billion, up 6% from $12.654 billion. NPMA's December 16, 2025 cost study with PCO Bookkeepers, covering 246 firms, found recurring revenue was 74% of total income, with a 58% average gross margin. The two figures measure different things, residential service revenue in one and total income in the other, so don't mix them. NPMA also counts nearly 13.29 million residential customers receiving professional pest control in 2025. Either way, plan billing is the core of the business, not a side feature.

How do you handle cancellations and pauses on a pest control service plan?

Handle them in the agreement first and in the software second. Write down whether a customer can pause for a season, how much notice a cancellation needs and what happens to prepaid visits, then test that the software can follow those rules. The vendor pages are thin here: QuoteIQ's invoice subscription page does not address pause, cancel or retention, Housecall Pro's help center says a plan's billing frequency cannot be changed once it is active and does not describe pausing, and ServiceTitan's memberships article does not cover cancellation. Briostack's blog says cards on file may lower cancellation rates over time. Run a pause, a cancel and a failed card through the trial before you move your customer book.

Do I need pest-specific software or will a general field service tool work?

A general tool can work if it bills a plan on a cycle and creates the visits automatically, and QuoteIQ, Jobber and Housecall Pro do some version of that. Pest-specific platforms such as GorillaDesk, FieldRoutes, PestPac and Briostack add pest-focused workflows and, for the larger ones, billing depth, but most publish no price. NPMA counts 16,565 U.S. pest control firms and says 81.4% run one or two locations, so most owners are buying for a small book, and the BLS counts 108,700 pest control worker jobs in 2025. The deciding questions are how many active customers you carry, whether you need chemical and compliance records, and whether you bill per visit or on a flat plan fee. Under a few hundred customers, I would try a general tool first.

Does pest control software require a credit card to start a free trial?

It depends on the vendor, so check each sign-up page. For QuoteIQ, every plan has a 14-day trial and a credit or debit card is required to start. FieldRoutes does not offer a free trial because of how customizable the software is, and offers a demonstration instead. PestPac, Briostack and ServiceTitan route you to a consultant, a demo or a pricing request, and Housecall Pro and GorillaDesk both advertise their trials without asking for a card. Whatever you choose, put a real quarterly plan through the trial, charge a test card, and note the date the trial converts so a bill doesn't surprise you.

Bottom Line

Service plans are where a pest company's revenue lives, so pick the tool by the plan lifecycle, not the feature list. If you want plan billing on every tier at the lowest published entry price, start with QuoteIQ and run one real quarterly plan through the 14-day trial, including a pause and a cancel. If you want a pest-native tool, GorillaDesk at $99 is the closest published match, and if you want a built-in plan module, price out Housecall Pro Max. Whichever you choose, ask every vendor to show you one plan from signature to renewal. See QuoteIQ in a demo and bring a real plan with you.
