Best Portable Toilet Rental Software (2026): 8 Ranked
I don't rent portable toilets. I own a pressure washing company, I co-founded QuoteIQ, and I put QuoteIQ first on this list, so weigh my ranking with that in mind. If you're an owner-operator or a small fleet that lives on quotes, deposits, monthly rental billing and daily routes, QuoteIQ is what I'd run your business on in 2026. If you manage hundreds of serial-numbered units and need each one on a map, ServiceCore, The Service Program, stopSuite and RapidWorks CRO were built for that, and I say where below.
TL;DR
QuoteIQ: from $29.99/mo, and $299.99/mo on Elite for route optimization and inventory. Best for owner-operators and small fleets billing rentals monthly.
ServiceCore: quote-only. Built around portable restroom routing, a unit map and a migration team.
The Service Program: $99.95/mo plus a $349 onboarding fee. Published pricing and QuickBooks Desktop sync.
stopSuite: $150/mo plus $0.09 per stop. Serial-number unit tracking with every feature included.
RapidWorks CRO and Reservety: CRO for mixed roll-off and portable fleets (quote-only); Reservety ($59/mo) for event rental booking.
Jobber and Housecall Pro: $49/mo and $79/mo. General job tools, with no unit tracking on their pricing pages.
How I Picked These
I'm Mike Vidan. I own All American Pressure Cleaning and co-founded QuoteIQ, so QuoteIQ is #1 because it's what I run my own jobs on, and I'm saying that up front. I don't rent portable toilets, and I haven't run the other seven tools. For them I read each vendor's published pricing and feature pages on October 14, 2026. What I weighed: what a one-to-ten person portable shop pays per month, whether you can see a price before talking to sales, how recurring monthly rental billing works, whether routes and numbered units are covered, and whether it syncs with QuickBooks. Prices are standard monthly rates, not annual-discounted. Where a vendor publishes no price (ServiceCore and RapidWorks CRO), I say so instead of printing a number. Treat my competitor notes as a starting point and confirm anything that matters in a demo.

1. QuoteIQ — Best Overall for Owner-Operators and Small Fleets
What it is
QuoteIQ is the contractor CRM I co-founded: quotes, jobs, invoices and payments in one app. For a toilet rental shop, the pieces that matter are Invoice Subscriptions, which charge a customer's card on file every week, month or quarter with taxes, fees and deposits applied, and recurring and multi-day job scheduling. Both are on every plan. On Elite, route optimization reorders a day's stops and runs from your home base and back, and inventory tracks stock by location, including service trucks and job sites. My post on the route density feature shows how I plan service days around clusters.
Pricing
Essentials $29.99 (1 user), Beginner $99.99 (2 users), Pro $199.99 (4 users), Elite $299.99 (10 users), Max $699.99 (20 users), checked on the QuoteIQ pricing page. Extra users are $25 a month on any plan. Every plan has a 14-day trial. Most portable operators who want routes and inventory will land on Elite.
Where it fits
Owner-operators and fleets of up to ten users who treat toilets as a route business: quote the job, take a deposit, bill monthly, send the truck, photograph the service. QuoteIQ Cam and inspection forms start on Beginner, QuickBooks sync and the customer portal on Pro. It also fits shops that run other services beside toilets. Book a QuoteIQ demo and bring a real week of stops.
Tradeoffs
QuoteIQ is general contractor software, not portable-sanitation software. Its inventory page tracks stock by location and doesn't mention serial numbers, so it won't put each numbered unit on a map. I found no pump-out facility routing or dump-fee automation. Route optimization and inventory both need Elite at $299.99.
"It works really well and has helped me keep track of my business finances" — Sipho Mlangeni (Google Play review)
2. ServiceCore — Best for Portable-First Routing
What it is
ServiceCore's portable restroom page describes one tool for jobs, billing, routing and inventory, QuickBooks compatible. It shows all units on a map, including the ones in your yard, with a calendar of available inventory by product line. Drivers get a daily schedule, turn-by-turn directions and service notes in the app. Billing supports 28-day cycles and batch billing. A team handles data migration, route setup, customer imports and driver training.
Pricing
ServiceCore's plans page lists two plans, START and Pro, with no prices: you schedule a demo for a quote. Billing is monthly with a yearly commitment. Rival vendors' guides print figures anywhere from about $145 to $200 a month, which is why I'm not printing one. Get it in writing.
Where it fits
Portable operators with real routes who want the vendor to do the migration. It also suits shops that run septic or roll-off alongside toilets; my septic service software roundup covers that overlap.
Tradeoffs
No public price and a yearly commitment. On the plans page, START excludes Pro reports, Pro messaging (SMS) and the customer portal. Check the ServiceCore home page for what's current before your demo.
3. The Service Program — Best for Published Pricing and QuickBooks Desktop
What it is
The Service Program is Westrom Software's service business tool. Its site lists portable toilet and septic work, route management by area, day and technician, stop verification with photos, work orders, recurring tasks, signature capture, and equipment and rental tracking. It syncs with QuickBooks Desktop 2018 or newer and QuickBooks Online. The PSAI supplier directory also lists mapping of units and tank locations.
Pricing
Monthly plans are priced by office user: one office user $99.95, two $134.95, three $169.95, five $219.95, ten $344.95, each with a one-time onboarding fee from $349 to $1,349. The mobile app is a $79.95 add-on and the customer portal is $59.95. One office user with both comes to $239.85 a month plus $349 onboarding, by my math.
Where it fits
Shops on QuickBooks Desktop that want a price list they can read without a sales call.
Tradeoffs
The base price excludes the mobile app, and GPS arrival tracking needs it. There's an onboarding fee, and the pricing page doesn't state a contract length, so ask.
4. stopSuite — Best for Per-Stop Pricing
What it is
stopSuite's portable restrooms page says you can track every unit by serial number, location and service status, schedule event deliveries and pickups, run weekly service routes with verification and supply tracking, and bill rental periods, delivery fees and service charges automatically. Its pricing page adds route optimization, a driver app, a customer portal and GPS tracking, with unlimited users and vehicles.
Pricing
Under 100 locations it's $150 a month plus $0.09 per stop. At 100 or more it's $250 a month plus $0.09 per stop. Setup starts at $500, and SMS and voice run through your own Twilio account. Card processing is billed by Stripe. A demo is required.
Where it fits
Operators who want serial-number unit tracking and routing in one tool and don't mind a bill that moves with stop volume.
Tradeoffs
The $500 setup fee and the demo gate. The pricing page states no trial and no contract terms. The portable page lists four features while the pricing page lists more, so ask which apply to portable work. The stopSuite home page is the place to start.
5. RapidWorks CRO — Best for Mixed Portable and Roll-Off Fleets
What it is
CRO is RapidWorks' system for dispatch, asset tracking, driver workflows, invoicing and collections across roll-off, portable sanitation and septic. Its portable page says every unit, owned or customer-owned, is tracked and plotted on a job-site map, recurring routes dispatch automatically, one-off stops can be added without changing the schedule, and drivers can route to the nearest pump-out facility. Completed jobs become invoices, with QuickBooks sync and a customer portal.
Pricing
The CRO product page describes a flat monthly base fee plus a per-truck fee, with unlimited office users. The price is quote-based. No trial or contract terms are stated.
Where it fits
Fleets with several trucks, mixed portable and roll-off work, and collections that need aging reports and batch statements.
Tradeoffs
No published price, and a demo is the only way in. Cost scales with trucks. Start from the RapidWorks home page if you want the full product line.
6. Reservety — Best for Event Rental Booking
What it is
Reservety's portable restroom page describes numbered units with a "units out" list, online booking where customers reserve standard, ADA and hand-wash units by the day, monthly jobsite billing to a card on file, and a seven-day service rule where techs log the visit with a photo.
Pricing
The Reservety pricing page lists Starter at $59 a month (2 staff accounts) and Professional at $99 a month (15 staff accounts, driver app and dispatch board, crew scheduling, QuickBooks). Terms are month-to-month, and it states zero booking commission. Payment processors charge their own fees.
Where it fits
Independent operators renting to events and a few construction sites who want a booking website built in. See the Reservety home page for the rest of its rental tools.
Tradeoffs
Its portable page marks route scheduling as in beta, says there's no dedicated route app for service techs, and lists net-30 invoicing on account as planned, not available. You set the unit count on a quote yourself.
7. Jobber — Best for Simple Job Management
What it is
Jobber is general home-service software. On its pricing page, Core covers online booking, quotes, invoices and online payments. Connect adds automated reminders, automatic payment collection and QuickBooks Online sync. Grow adds job costing and two-way SMS.
Pricing
Core is $49 a month for one user. Connect is $139 for one user and $199 for five. Grow is $199 for one user and $299 for five. Extra users are $29 a month each. The trial is 14 days. I compare it line by line in my Jobber vs QuoteIQ breakdown.
Where it fits
A one-truck operator who wants quoting, scheduling and invoicing in one place and doesn't need rental-specific features.
Tradeoffs
Its pricing page doesn't mention inventory, equipment, rentals or serial numbers, and it doesn't mention portable toilets at all. Tracking which numbered unit sits where is on you.
8. Housecall Pro — Best for Small Mobile Crews
What it is
Housecall Pro is field service software for small service businesses. Per its pricing page, every plan has online booking, estimates, invoicing, and scheduling and dispatch. Essentials adds route grouping and sequencing and QuickBooks Online sync. MAX adds route optimization by drive time and recurring service plans.
Pricing
On month-to-month billing, Basic is $79 for one user, Essentials is $189 for five users, and MAX is $329 for eight users with $35 per extra user. Annual billing is cheaper; I'm quoting monthly. The trial is 14 days. For a three-way look, read my QuoteIQ vs Jobber vs Housecall Pro comparison.
Where it fits
Small crews that want booking, dispatch and invoicing in one familiar field-service tool and don't need rental-specific features.
Tradeoffs
Recurring service plans are listed only on MAX, the $329 tier. The pricing page doesn't mention inventory, equipment, rentals or serial numbers, so unit tracking is on you.
What Operators Say
I couldn't find reviews from portable toilet operators in QuoteIQ's review database, so these two come from other service trades on its Google Play listing. They speak to the app, not to toilets.
"I highly recommend the app it functions greatly and is very organized!" — Jaxon Christensen (Google Play review)
"This app will help me so much with keeping up with job and customers" — Dustin Reed (Google Play review)
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the best portable toilet rental software in 2026?
For a small operator, my pick is QuoteIQ, with the caveat that I co-founded it. It covers quoting, deposits, recurring monthly billing and scheduling, and on Elite adds route optimization and inventory by location. If you run hundreds of serial-numbered units and need them on a map with pump-out routing, the purpose-built tools fit better: ServiceCore, The Service Program, stopSuite and RapidWorks CRO. Reservety suits event-heavy shops that want online booking. Choose by how many units you manage and whether you need unit-level history, not by feature count. Whatever you shortlist, ask each vendor to show you a month of recurring rental billing and a week of routes with your own numbers before you sign anything.
How much does portable toilet rental software cost?
Published monthly prices run from $29.99 for QuoteIQ Essentials and $49 for Jobber Core up to $299.99 for QuoteIQ Elite. The purpose-built tools sit in the middle or are quote-only. The Service Program starts at $99.95 a month plus a $349 onboarding fee, stopSuite is $150 a month plus $0.09 per stop with setup from $500, and Reservety is $59 or $99 a month. ServiceCore and RapidWorks CRO publish no prices. Watch the add-ons: The Service Program charges separately for the mobile app and customer portal, and QuoteIQ charges $25 per extra user. Price one realistic month for your own crew, with the users and add-ons you'd actually need, before you compare. All checked October 14, 2026.
Can general field service software run a portable toilet rental business?
Partly. QuoteIQ, Jobber and Housecall Pro handle quotes, scheduling, invoicing and payments, which covers much of a small shop. Jobber's and Housecall Pro's pricing pages don't mention serial-numbered unit tracking, and QuoteIQ's inventory page doesn't either, so you'd track which unit sits where in notes or a spreadsheet, and that works until you have more units than you can remember. Recurring billing differs: Housecall Pro lists recurring service plans only on MAX at $329 a month, while QuoteIQ's invoice subscriptions are on every plan. My Jobber vs QuoteIQ breakdown goes deeper on that gap.
How many portable toilets does OSHA require on a construction site?
Under OSHA's construction sanitation standard, 29 CFR 1926.51, a site with 20 or fewer workers needs at least one toilet. From 20 workers up it's one toilet seat and one urinal per 40 workers, and from 200 workers up it's one per 50. Under temporary field conditions at least one toilet must be available, and the rule doesn't apply to mobile crews with transportation readily available to nearby facilities. That ratio is how contractors size a rental, so your software should let you quote by crew size and add units as headcount grows. Confirm the current table and any state or local rules yourself before you size a bid, since a job can sit under stricter requirements than the federal minimum.
How often do portable toilets need to be serviced on a job site?
The toilet table in 1926.51 sets counts, not a servicing interval. OSHA's 2006 letter of interpretation says a toilet in an unsanitary condition doesn't count as provided, and points to the ANSI Z4.3 servicing schedule as a guide, with weekly servicing as the example for a toilet used by up to 10 people. In practice that means recurring weekly stops and a record of who serviced what and when. Software that logs each service with a photo and timestamp gives you proof if a customer or inspector asks, and it makes a disputed invoice much easier to settle. Several tools on this list capture that photo and stamp in the driver or tech app, so ask to see it in the demo.
What features should portable toilet rental software have?
Start with what costs you money when it fails: recurring weekly service routes, monthly rental billing that continues until pickup, proof of service with photos, and a QuickBooks sync. Next comes unit tracking, meaning which numbered unit is at which site. ServiceCore, stopSuite, The Service Program and RapidWorks CRO list unit or equipment tracking on their own pages, and the general tools mostly don't. Then check for a driver app, a customer portal, and whether routing reaches pump-out facilities, which RapidWorks CRO says it does. Last, ask for the price in writing: two of the eight tools here publish none, and a quote that arrives by email is easier to hold a vendor to than a number from a call.
How many portable sanitation companies are there in the United States?
The Portable Sanitation Association International estimates about 1,200 US businesses focus primarily on portable sanitation and as many as 9,100 include it among their offerings. Globally it cites roughly 3.6 million portable restrooms in use, serviced by more than 10,000 trucks, and about $1.9 billion in annual gross revenue. PSAI cites no sources for those figures and hedges most of them, so read them as ballpark rather than a census. For software, the takeaway is that many operators run septic, roll-off or junk hauling beside toilets, which is why my junk removal software roundup overlaps with this one.
Is there a free trial for portable toilet rental software?
It depends on the tool. QuoteIQ gives a 14-day trial on every plan, and a credit or debit card is required to start. Jobber and Housecall Pro both list 14-day trials on their pricing pages, and Reservety lists a 14-day trial with month-to-month terms. The Service Program points to a 30-day money-back guarantee. ServiceCore, RapidWorks CRO and stopSuite send you to a demo, and stopSuite's pricing page states no trial or contract terms. Ask about contract length before you sign: ServiceCore's plans page says billing is monthly with a yearly commitment. For QuoteIQ, you can book a demo before you start, which is worth doing if you want someone to map your own route and billing setup first.
Bottom Line
If you rent a few hundred units across many customers and need each numbered unit on a map, request demos from ServiceCore, The Service Program, stopSuite and RapidWorks CRO and compare quotes. If you're an owner-operator or a small fleet that lives on quotes, deposits, monthly rental billing and daily routes, QuoteIQ covers that for $29.99 to start and $299.99 once you want route optimization and inventory. I put it first because it's what I'd run, and I co-founded it, so check my math against the pricing page. Book a QuoteIQ demo and bring one real week of stops.
