Best Mobile Pet Grooming Software (2026): Top 8 Compared
I'm Mike Vidan. I run a pressure washing business on QuoteIQ and I co-founded the software, so I put it first and I'll show you why. For a mobile pet grooming business in 2026, QuoteIQ is my pick if you want recurring appointments, invoices and job photos in one app that starts at $29.99 a month and doesn't bill by the van. If you want pet profiles and grooming-specific routing built in from day one, MoeGo and Pawfinity are the strongest alternatives below.
TL;DR
QuoteIQ from $29.99/mo: best overall if you want plan-based pricing and one app for jobs, invoices and photos. Route optimization starts on Elite at $299.99.
MoeGo from $49/mo: best for grooming-specific vans, with route optimization and multi-van tools, priced per van from Growth at $99.
Pawfinity at $60/mo: mapping and routes on every plan, with texting sold per message.
Time To Pet from $25/mo: the cheapest way into a pet-specific CRM, with a map-based schedule view.
Groomsoft at $39.90/mo for mobile groomers: maps and 100 free reminder texts a month.
Groomer.io, DaySmart Pet and Jobber round out the list: unlimited texting at $99, a shop-first system from $29, and a general field service tool from $49.
How I Picked These
I run my own service business on QuoteIQ and I co-founded it, so I know that one from daily use. I have not run a grooming van, and I haven't used the other seven on a route. Everything I say about them comes from each vendor's published pricing and feature pages, checked in October 2026, using standard monthly prices rather than annual discounts or teaser rates.
Here is what I weighed for a mobile groomer:
What it costs for one van, and for two or three
How it handles repeat appointments and reminders
Whether it plans a route between stops, and on which plan
Deposits and payments taken from the van
Whether it was built for pets or is a general field service tool
This ranking is aimed at owner-operators and small van fleets. When a competitor does something better than QuoteIQ, I say so in its entry.

1. QuoteIQ — Best Overall for Mobile Pet Grooming
What it is
QuoteIQ is the field service app I co-founded and the one I run my own jobs on. It handles estimates, scheduling with recurring jobs, invoicing, payments and job photos from a phone, and it works the same whether you have one van or several. It is not a pet-specific tool, and I'll tell you where that matters.
Pricing
Plans run Essentials $29.99 (1 user), Beginner $99.99 (2 users), Pro $199.99 (4 users), Elite $299.99 (10 users) and Max $699.99 (20 users), billed monthly by default on the QuoteIQ pricing page. Extra users are $25 a month on any plan, and pricing is by plan and seat, not by van. Every plan has a 14-day trial.
Where it fits
A grooming client list is repeat work, and recurring jobs run on every plan. I compare how that works for another repeat-visit trade in my lawn care recurring scheduling roundup. Beginner and above adds QuoteIQ Cam for before-and-after photos you can attach to invoices, and Pro and above adds On The Way texts so clients know the van is coming. Every plan sends clients to your review page the moment they pay an invoice online. If you run several vans and want each day's stops ordered for you, Route Optimization and Route Density Zones start on Elite. I explain that choice in route density or route optimization.
Tradeoffs
QuoteIQ has no built-in breed or coat-type fields, so pet details live in notes and custom fields. Route Optimization, and InstaSchedule for clients who book themselves after a quote, are Elite and above at $299.99, so a one-van groomer on a smaller plan plans stops by hand. And I have not run a grooming route myself. The fit comes from how the app works on my service jobs, not from a grooming business.
"Great app. my customers really like it and easy to use." — Ben Stone (Google Play review)

2. MoeGo — Best for Multi-Van Pet Businesses
What it is
MoeGo is pet business software with its own mobile grooming page. It lists route optimization, area-based planning, a map view, limits on maximum driving distance and time, multiple vans, staff logins, commission and payroll tracking, deposits and tips, and iOS and Android apps. MoeGo's help center says route optimization reorders a day's appointments by fastest driving time and shortest distance, from a start and end point you pick.
Pricing
On its pricing page, Basic is $49 a month for one team member with 200 texts per van. Growth is $99 per van with an unlimited team, 900 texts per van, route optimization, multi-van tools and a waitlist. Ultimate is $159 per van, and Enterprise is custom. I checked these in October 2026.
Where it fits
This is the closest thing on the list to software built around a van. If you are pet-only and want the tools built in rather than assembled from custom fields, MoeGo is the one I would demo first.
Tradeoffs
Growth is priced per van, so three vans on Growth is $297 a month before anything else. Route optimization is not listed on Basic, the help article doesn't say which plans include it, and I did not find payment processing fees on the pricing page, so ask before you sign.
3. Pawfinity — Best for Routes on Every Plan
What it is
Pawfinity's mobile grooming page describes Booking Genius mobile routing, which it says helps decrease travel time and costs. It also lists custom calendars that handle multiple vans, two-way text and email notifications, a mobile point of sale and stored payments.
Pricing
Per its pricing page, Groom & Train is $60 a month ($55 billed annually), Stay & Play is $60, and the Royal Package is $110 ($100 annually), with mapping and routes in every plan. Texting is an add-on at $0.05 down to $0.035 per message depending on volume. The page lists a 7-day trial.
Where it fits
If you want routing without climbing a pricing ladder, this is the one to look at, because mapping and routes sit in every plan. The features page shows the appointment schedule tools. A one-van groomer who wants grooming-specific tools and predictable routing should demo it next to MoeGo.
Tradeoffs
Per-message texting means your bill follows your volume, and the pages I read don't spell out how many vans each plan covers, so confirm that for a multi-van crew.
4. Time To Pet — Best Low-Cost Start for Solo Groomers
What it is
Time To Pet is a pet business CRM with a help article on mobile grooming. It describes a Geo Schedule map, a Map Staff Schedule tool that suggests visit order, a Daily Visit Map in the staff app, staff service areas, mileage tracking, and multi-van setups handled through staff profiles.
Pricing
The pricing page lists Lite at $25 a month, Solo at $50, and Team at $40 plus $16 a month per active staff member. Facility is $79, Large Team is custom, and paying annually is billed as 10 months. A 14-day trial is offered.
Where it fits
If you are a solo groomer starting a van and want pet profiles at the lowest price on this list, start here. The $25 Lite plan is the cheapest entry in this roundup, though the pricing page doesn't say which mobile tools Lite includes.
Tradeoffs
The help article is dated September 2025, and the pricing page doesn't mention route optimization or mobile grooming. The article doesn't describe travel-time estimates or zone-based scheduling either, and Team pricing grows by $16 for every active staff member.
5. Groomsoft — Best Flat Price for Mobile Groomers
What it is
Groomsoft's mobile grooming software page lists maps for mobile grooming, route optimization, mileage tracking, a large map view and "On My Way" texts. It sells a mobile plan and a shop plan with the same feature set.
Pricing
The pricing page shows Mobile Groomers at $39.90 a month and Grooming Shops at $29.95, with payment processing, Google Calendar sync, online booking, maps, email reminders and 100 free text reminders in both. Extra texts come in optional packs starting at $10 per 100, and a 30-day free demo is listed.
Where it fits
One flat price for a solo mobile groomer who wants maps, reminders and payments without a long list of plan tiers to compare.
Tradeoffs
I found no client app described, extra texts cost extra, and the pricing page doesn't say how a second van is priced. The page's free text counts for the demo are inconsistent, so check before you sign up.
6. Groomer.io — Best for Unlimited Texting
What it is
Groomer.io's mobile scheduling page describes a live map, proximity booking, routing suggestions and ETA or en-route notifications. The platform adds online scheduling, automated calls, unlimited pet records, and Clover and Square integrations.
Pricing
The pricing page lists $99 a month, with a limited-time $79 per storefront or van and no end date stated. Unlimited texts, automated calls, online payments and deposits, pet photos and onboarding are included. A website is a separate $99 a month.
Where it fits
If texting volume is your cost worry, unlimited texts at a flat price are the draw, and the live map with en-route notifications covers the van basics.
Tradeoffs
It is priced per storefront or van, so a second van doubles the line, and a website costs another $99 a month.
7. DaySmart Pet — Best for Shops Adding a Van
What it is
DaySmart Pet is shop-first software with a mobile grooming page. It lists Easy Navigation for mapping the day's stops and directions, a mobile map that estimates trip time and checks traffic, automated reminders by email or text, two-way texting, 24/7 online booking and recurring appointments.
Pricing
The pricing page shows Basic at $29 with payments or $39 without (1 user), Deluxe at $69 or $89 (3 users), Deluxe Growth at $149 or $169, and Premium at $199 or $219 (6 users). Extra users are $9 a month, and a website builder is $15.
Where it fits
This is best if you already run a shop, or want a shop and a van on one system. Its dog grooming page covers stored payment information for deposits, no-shows and late cancellations.
Tradeoffs
The mobile page doesn't describe vans or scheduling by area. The with-payments and without-payments price pairs make it easy to compare the wrong numbers, and the pricing page puts two-way texting on Deluxe Growth, so the Basic price isn't the whole story.
8. Jobber — Best if You Also Run Other Services
What it is
Jobber is general field service software, and I found no grooming-specific page on its site. Its help center says route optimization on the New Schedule reorders anytime visits by driving distance, lets you set the first and last stops, and is included on Connect, Grow and Plus. Only admin users can run it.
Pricing
Per the pricing page, Core is $49 a month for one user, Connect is $139 for one user or $199 for five, Grow is $199 or $299, and Plus is $499 for five users. Extra users are $29 a month.
Where it fits
If you groom and also run another service, or you simply want a well-known general tool, Jobber works. I compare it with mine in Jobber vs QuoteIQ.
Tradeoffs
Route optimization only reorders anytime visits that have no set start or end time, and Jobber's route help article says scheduled visits keep their set times. Nothing in it is pet-specific, so breed and coat details are yours to track.
What Operators Say
None of the reviewers below is tagged as a groomer in the QuoteIQ review database, so read these as general QuoteIQ feedback from contractors, not grooming results.
"We have been using Quote IQ since OCT 22 and it has been a game chnager so many features packed into 1 app best CRM" — John Wall (Google Play review)

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the best software for a mobile pet grooming business in 2026?
It depends on your van count and how much pet-specific tooling you want. A solo groomer with one van needs different things than a three-van fleet, so size it for the next year. I rank QuoteIQ first because it starts at $29.99 a month, prices by plan and seat instead of by van, and covers recurring jobs, invoices and photos in one app. MoeGo and Pawfinity are the closest to grooming-specific, with routing and multi-van tools built in, and Time To Pet is the cheapest way into a pet CRM at $25. If you also run another van-based trade, my mobile detailing software roundup covers the same van and route problem. Demo your top two against one real week of appointments before you commit.
How much does mobile pet grooming software cost?
Most single-van entry prices land between $25 and $100 a month at standard monthly rates. Time To Pet starts at $25, QuoteIQ at $29.99, DaySmart Pet at $29 with payments, Groomsoft at $39.90 for its mobile plan, MoeGo at $49, and Pawfinity at $60. Groomer.io is $99 per storefront or van. Watch the per-van lines, because MoeGo Growth is $99 per van and Groomer.io is priced per van, while QuoteIQ and DaySmart Pet price by seat. Texting is the other line item, since Pawfinity charges per message and Groomsoft sells packs beyond 100 texts. These are the standard monthly rates I read on each vendor's page in October 2026, and they change, so confirm on the pricing page before you budget.
Do I need route optimization for mobile dog grooming?
If you run one van in a tight service area, you can often plan stops by hand on a map. With two vans or a wide service area, ordering stops by drive time becomes much more useful. MoeGo's route optimization reorders a day by fastest driving time, and Pawfinity builds mapping and routes into every plan. QuoteIQ's Route Optimization and Route Density Zones start on Elite at $299.99, which I break down in route density or route optimization. Jobber's help center says its tool only reorders visits without set times, which matters when your appointments have fixed slots. Ask each vendor whether routing is included on the plan you would actually buy, since several tie it to a higher tier.
Can clients book mobile grooming appointments online?
Yes, on most of these tools. Pawfinity lists 24/7 online booking, DaySmart Pet lists 24/7 online booking with recurring appointments, Groomsoft includes online booking on its mobile plan, and Groomer.io lists online scheduling. In QuoteIQ, self-scheduling inside the client portal starts on Pro, and InstaSchedule, which lets clients book after a quote, is Elite and above. My online booking roundup for mobile detailing shows how I judge that feature, since a van business has the same booking problem. An open booking page can fill a day with stops that sit far apart, so check that it respects your service area before you publish it.
How do I reduce no-shows for a mobile grooming business?
Combine reminders with deposits, because they solve different problems: deposits filter out casual bookings, and reminders catch the forgetful ones. Most of these tools send text or email reminders, and DaySmart Pet's dog grooming page adds stored payment information for deposits, no-shows and late cancellations. In QuoteIQ, invoices support partial payments and deposits on every plan, and Pro and above adds On The Way texts and Email & Text Automation. Groomer.io lists online payments and deposits on its pricing page. Whatever you choose, set your deposit policy before you turn on online booking so clients see it first.
Can Jobber work for mobile pet groomers?
It can, with limits. Jobber is general field service software, and I found no grooming-specific page on its site, so pet details are yours to track. It is a fair choice if grooming is one of several services you sell, since one app then covers all of them. Its pricing page starts at $49 for Core, and its help center describes routing that works on visits without set times. If you want a general tool, QuoteIQ is the one I would compare it with, and I break down the money in Jobber vs QuoteIQ. If you want pet profiles, vans and pet-specific routing out of the box, MoeGo or Pawfinity fit better, and I would demo both before choosing.
How big is the pet industry in the US in 2026?
The American Pet Products Association says the US pet industry reached $158 billion in 2025 and projects $165 billion for 2026. Its 2026 Dog Report puts dog-owning households at 71 million. On the jobs side, the Bureau of Labor Statistics counts 413,000 animal care and service workers in 2025, a group that includes groomers, and projects 11% growth from 2025 to 2035. The BLS page lists mobile grooming services as one place groomers work, and the group's 2025 median pay was $35,530 a year. These are industry-wide figures, not mobile-grooming-only numbers, so treat them as context for demand rather than a forecast for your route.
Is there a free trial for mobile pet grooming software?
Several offer one. QuoteIQ gives you 14 days on any plan, and a credit or debit card is required to start. Groomsoft lists a 30-day free demo, Time To Pet offers 14 days, and Pawfinity lists a 7-day trial. I didn't confirm trial terms for MoeGo, Groomer.io, DaySmart Pet or Jobber, so ask each one before you plan a test week. Bring your actual service list and prices so the test looks like your business. The best trial is a real one: run a full week of appointments through your top two choices, including a reschedule and a deposit, and see which one your clients and your phone like better. Then decide with real numbers, not a feature list.
Bottom Line
I co-founded QuoteIQ, so I'm not neutral about it, and I told you that up front. For a groomer who wants one app for recurring jobs, invoices and photos at $29.99 a month, QuoteIQ is where I'd start, and I'd move to Elite when route planning for several vans matters. If you want grooming-specific tools from day one, demo MoeGo and Pawfinity before you decide. Book a QuoteIQ demo and bring a real week of appointments.

Great article! It’s full of meaningful information and clearly well-researched. I found it very helpful and informative. https://gurgaon.kokaqueen.com
