Contact Management Software for Roofing Companies (2026)
I'm Mike Vidan, I own All American Pressure Cleaning and I co-founded QuoteIQ, so know up front that QuoteIQ is my product and my #1 pick. For contact management software for roofing companies in 2026, I'd start with QuoteIQ: the customer record, tags, history, measurements and estimates live in one app from $29.99 a month. If you run your sales on boards, JobNimbus and the other six tools below are worth a look. My wider take on choosing a CRM for a roofing business is separate; this post is about the contact record itself.
TL;DR
QuoteIQ (#1): from $29.99/mo for one user. The customer database, tags and history are on every plan, and pipeline boards start at Elite ($299.99).
JobNimbus: a contact-and-board CRM with unlimited contacts on every plan. Prices are quote-only.
Roofr: a $0 Starter plan, then Essentials at $249/mo with SMS texting.
Jobber and Leap: Jobber logs every client message from $49/mo. Leap starts at $79/mo for one user.
AccuLynx, Housecall Pro and Builder Prime: AccuLynx is quote-only, Housecall Pro lists $79/mo for Basic, and Builder Prime starts at a $300/mo platform fee plus seats.
Every price is a standard monthly rate from the vendor's own page, checked October 2026.
How I Picked These
I ranked these eight on what a roofing contact record has to do. It should hold the homeowner, the property and the job history, log every call, text and email, show where the lead came from, and keep follow-up moving without retyping. I weighed price at one user and at a four-person crew, because most roofing offices have a salesperson, an estimator and a project manager before they have a full back office. Every price comes from the vendor's own pricing page, checked October 2026, and I use standard monthly rates only. Where a vendor shows no price, I say it is quote-only. I use QuoteIQ in my businesses and co-founded it, so it is listed first and you should weigh that. I have not run the other seven in my own company. I read their pricing and feature pages, and where a page did not name a feature, I say so instead of guessing. I'm not a roofer, so I leaned on what roofing teams need from a contact record rather than pretending to roof.

1. QuoteIQ — Best Overall for Roofing Contact Management
What it is
QuoteIQ is the field service CRM I co-founded. Each customer gets one record holding their contacts, tags, history, estimates, invoices and photos, and you can import an existing list from a spreadsheet, another CRM or your phone. A September 2026 update added additional contacts to the customer record, so the homeowner, the spouse and the property manager can each carry their own details.
Pricing
Standard monthly: Essentials $29.99 (1 user), Beginner $99.99 (2), Pro $199.99 (4), Elite $299.99 (10) and Max $699.99 (20). Extra users are $25 a month and every plan has a 14-day trial. The customer database, tags, customer history and contact import are on all five plans. ClientHub texting and the client portal start at Pro, and pipelines start at Elite. Details are on the QuoteIQ pricing page.
Where it fits
It fits roofers who want the contact, the measurement and the estimate in one place. QuoteIQ's roofing CRM comparison page says roof measurements save to the customer record and photos stay on the contact record. MapMeasure Pro starts at Beginner, and website contact forms feed new inquiries into the system at Pro and above. It works best for crews of one to four. When a lead goes quiet, my guide to roofing estimate follow-up software picks up where this one stops. You can book a QuoteIQ demo to see the record on a real list.
"The best crm with easy to use interface." — Simon Dziak (App Store review)
Tradeoffs
Visual pipeline boards start at Elite, $299.99, so a Pro shop tracks leads with tags and lead sources instead of a board. QuoteIQ is a multi-trade platform, and its roofing page does not list an insurance-claim workflow. And I own it, so check the numbers on the pricing page yourself.
2. JobNimbus — Best for Board-Based Roofing Sales
What it is
JobNimbus is a CRM built around contacts and boards. Its homepage describes contacts kept sorted and reachable from the app, with texting and email inside the product. My side-by-side on JobNimbus versus QuoteIQ for roofing goes deeper on the workflow.
Pricing
Quote only. The JobNimbus pricing page lists Essentials (up to 3 users), Pro (up to 10), Premium (up to 19) and Enterprise (20 and up). Every plan has unlimited contacts. Boards run 3, 5 and unlimited, and active automations run 10, 30 and 100 a month on the first three plans. Engage texting is sold as a separate Communications Bundle add-on for current customers, with pricing on request.
Where it fits
It fits roofing sales teams of three to nineteen who want to see every lead on a board. Unlimited contacts matter if you keep years of past customers in the system.
Tradeoffs
No public price means you cannot compare it with anything until you talk to sales. The entry plan caps you at three boards and ten automations a month. Texting costs extra per the pricing page.
3. Roofr — Best Free Starting Point
What it is
Roofr is a roofing-focused platform with job boards, proposals and measurement tools. Its plan table lists the CRM and pipeline as job boards, so the board is where you track leads.
Pricing
The Roofr pricing page shows Starter at $0 (unlimited users, one basic job board, five automations), Essentials at $249 billed monthly ($209 billed yearly) with SMS texting and unlimited proposals, and Scale at $349 monthly ($299 yearly) with seven boards, custom tags and 25 or more automations. The feature table shows a separate $49 a month SMS charge on Scale. Measure+ shows conflicting prices on the page, so I left it out.
Where it fits
It fits a roofer who wants to start at zero and learn what they need. Unlimited users on every plan helps when you add a salesperson.
Tradeoffs
The jump from $0 to $249 is steep. Custom tags are listed on Scale only, and lead capture is a paid add-on rather than part of any plan.
4. Jobber — Best for Client History and Message Logs
What it is
Jobber is a general field service tool. Its CRM page describes customizable client profiles, a history of each client's requests, quotes, jobs and invoices, and a log of past emails and texts, including automated ones. Contacts can be tagged as leads. I compare it with my own product in Jobber versus QuoteIQ.
Pricing
On the Jobber pricing page, standard monthly rates are Core $49, Connect $139 and Grow $199, each for one user, and Plus $499 for five users. Extra users are $29 a month. Pipeline lead tracking is a $49 a month add-on and is included in Plus. Automated quote follow-up starts at Connect, and the page lists a 14-day free trial.
Where it fits
It fits service-first crews that want a clean record of every message and job per client.
Tradeoffs
On the CRM page I read, tagging applies to leads only, and I found no mention of custom fields or notes. Pipeline costs extra below Plus, and per-user pricing climbs with the crew.
5. Leap — Best for Roofing and Remodeling Sales Teams
What it is
Leap markets a CRM for roofing, siding, windows and remodeling contractors. Its homepage says it keeps every lead, customer, job and document in one place, with built-in email and text messaging.
Pricing
The Leap pricing page lists Essential at $79 a month for a single user, Team starting at $298 with the first user included and $99 for each additional user, and Premium starting at $750 with six users. Enterprise is contact sales. Leap's homepage offers a 14-day free trial of Essential.
Where it fits
It fits roofing and remodeling companies with a sales team, since Team adds users on one account.
Tradeoffs
Team costs almost four times Essential, and each extra user is $99. The pages I read did not describe contact records or pipeline stages in detail, and the plan table's check marks did not come through, so confirm features on a demo.
6. AccuLynx — Best for Roofing-Only Platform Buyers
What it is
AccuLynx is a roofing contractor platform. Its Sales/CRM feature is described as a way to stay on top of your pipeline, and the site also lists SMS and a customer portal.
Pricing
No price is published. The AccuLynx pricing page says pricing is based on the number of users and features your roofing business needs, and it routes you to a custom quote.
Where it fits
It fits a roofing company that wants a roofing-only system and is comfortable getting a quote before it can compare.
Tradeoffs
You cannot see a price without a sales conversation. The pages I read did not describe contact records, so ask to see one during a demo.
7. Housecall Pro — Best for Booking-First Shops
What it is
Housecall Pro is field service software centered on booking, estimates, invoicing and review management. Its pricing page describes a Pipeline that turns leads into jobs with automated follow-ups, but it does not tie that to a plan.
Pricing
The Housecall Pro pricing page lists Basic at $79 a month (1 user), Essentials at $189 (5 users) and Max at $329 (8 users, then $35 for each additional user), with lower annual-looking figures of $59, $149 and $299 shown alongside. The sales proposal tool is on Max.
Where it fits
It fits a roofer who needs booking and invoicing first and a sales pipeline second.
Tradeoffs
The pricing page names no customer database, tags or lead tracking for any plan. It also does not say which plan carries Pipeline, so confirm before you buy.
8. Builder Prime — Best for Call and Text Follow-Up Teams
What it is
Builder Prime describes its CRM as managing customers from lead to referral, with lead tracking and pipeline management, automated follow-up, SMS and email marketing automation, and a built-in call center. I cover it against my own product in QuoteIQ versus Builder Prime.
Pricing
The Builder Prime pricing page lists a $300 a month platform fee plus $60 per core user and $10 per field user. SMS is an add-on at $200 a month plus $0.03 per message. Annual billing saves 17 percent, and Enterprise is quote-only.
Where it fits
It fits an office-heavy roofing sales team that lives on the phone and in text threads.
Tradeoffs
You pay $300 before the first seat. The page's own sample total did not match its line items when I added them, so get the final number in writing.
What Operators Say
None of these reviewers is tagged as a roofer in QuoteIQ's review database. They are QuoteIQ customers who left app-store reviews, and I'm quoting them on the contact and organization side of the app.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the best contact management software for roofing companies?
For most small and mid-size roofing companies, QuoteIQ is the best fit because the customer record, tags, history, estimates and measurements sit in one app from $29.99 a month, and the contact database is on every plan. I co-founded QuoteIQ, so weigh that. If you want contacts on boards, JobNimbus is built around them but publishes no prices, and Roofr's Starter plan costs $0 if you want to learn before you pay. If you run a crew of five or more, price Leap and Jobber too. For the wider picture beyond the contact record, read my guide to CRM for roofing businesses. Whichever you pick, test it with your own messiest contact list before you commit.
How much does roofing contact management software cost?
Standard monthly prices in October 2026 run from $0 to a $300 platform fee before seats. Roofr starts at $0, QuoteIQ at $29.99 for one user, Jobber at $49, and Leap and Housecall Pro at $79. Roofr Essentials is $249, and Builder Prime adds $60 per core user on top of its $300 fee. JobNimbus and AccuLynx publish no prices. Extra users decide a crew's bill: $25 on QuoteIQ, $29 on Jobber, $35 on Housecall Pro beyond the eight included on Max, and $99 on Leap. Compare Jobber's pricing and Leap's pricing side by side before you decide. Annual billing lowers several of these rates, so confirm which figure you are looking at.
What should roofing contact management software track?
At minimum it should hold the homeowner, the property address, every call, text and email, the lead source, and the estimates and photos tied to the job. Roofing leads often involve several people, such as the owner, a spouse and a property manager, so look for more than one contact per record. QuoteIQ added additional contacts to the customer record in September 2026, and JobNimbus lists unlimited contacts on every plan. Before you pay, log one real lead from first call to signed estimate and see whether the record tells the whole story. Plan limits are on JobNimbus's pricing page. Ask each vendor how it handles a second contact.
Do roofers need a CRM or is a spreadsheet enough?
A spreadsheet works for a handful of jobs, then follow-ups slip and nobody can see what was said to whom. The Bureau of Labor Statistics counts 166,900 roofers in 2025, with median pay of $55,440 and about 12,000 openings projected each year, so a lead you lose is one a nearby crew can pick up. Harvard Business Review reports that acquiring a new customer costs five to 25 times more than retaining one, which is the case for logging every contact. A CRM is that log with reminders attached, and it keeps working when you are up on a roof. Pick the simplest tool your office will actually update after every call and every site visit.
Can I import my existing contacts into roofing CRM software?
Usually, but check the file types first. QuoteIQ's Imports Hub is on all plans and takes contacts from a CSV, including exports from another CRM, or from your phone's contacts, with AI Smart Import mapping the columns. Its Smart Import page documents contacts and services only and says nothing about duplicates, so clean your list before you upload it. For other tools, ask for a sample import before you commit, because pricing pages rarely spell out limits. See the QuoteIQ pricing page and the Jobber CRM page for what each vendor lists today. Run a ten-row test file first to see how names, phones and addresses land.
What is the difference between a roofing CRM and contact management software?
Contact management stores people and what happened with them: names, numbers, notes, messages, tags and lead sources. A roofing CRM adds the sales process on top, with pipelines or boards, estimates, follow-up automation and often measurements. Most roofers eventually need both, and a weak contact record makes everything above it harder to trust. Leap and JobNimbus sell the fuller CRM, Jobber's CRM page covers client details, job history and message logs, and QuoteIQ keeps the contact record on every plan with boards starting at Elite. Ask each vendor which side of that line its entry plan sits on before you start a trial.
Is there a free trial for roofing CRM software?
Most vendors offer one. QuoteIQ has a 14-day free trial on every plan, and a credit or debit card is required to start. Jobber's pricing page states a 14-day free trial, JobNimbus's homepage advertises a 14-day trial, and Leap offers 14 days of Essential. Roofr's Starter plan is free outright, with limits on boards and automations. Use any trial on a real job: import 25 of your own contacts, log one lead, and send one text from the app. Start with Roofr's pricing if you want to pay nothing at first. Set a reminder for day 12 so the trial does not roll into a paid plan before you have decided, and write down which features you could not find.
Which roofing contact management software includes texting?
QuoteIQ includes two-way calling and texting logged to each customer from Pro at $199.99. JobNimbus advertises two-way texting inside the app, but its pricing page sells Engage as a separate add-on for current customers. Roofr lists SMS texting on Essentials at $249, and Leap says texting is built in. Builder Prime charges $200 a month plus $0.03 per message, and AccuLynx lists SMS without a price. Add the per-message cost to the plan price before you compare, because texting is where the bills diverge. See Builder Prime's pricing for the math. Also ask whether texts go out from a dedicated business number, since that affects replies.
Bottom Line
If you run a small or growing roofing company, start with QuoteIQ. The customer record, tags, history, measurements and estimates are on every plan from $29.99 a month, and I'm telling you I built it, so run the 14-day trial against your own leads. If your sales team lives on boards, price JobNimbus and Roofr's Essentials next, and ask AccuLynx and Leap for demos if you want a roofing-only platform. Pick the tool your office will actually keep updated. Book a QuoteIQ demo and bring your messiest contact list.
